JONNY NEMETZ (Edition Hawara)

Jonny Nemetz is co-founder of Edition Hawara and its sister label Hawara International, reissuing forgotten musical gems — from Austria and around the world, respectively — from the 1970s and 80s.
Beyond his label work, Jonny has been a staple of Vienna’s dance music scene since the late 1990s. Originally part of the Deephousemafia collective, he went on to release several house records in the 2000s as a member of the Pepita Project. A dedicated househead and passionate collector of soul, jazz, and funk from around the globe, he has also appeared as a guest on The Lot Radio, Hör, FM4, Sound Metaphors and other stations.

Jonny Nemetzは、オーストリアの忘れられた音楽的名盤を再発するレーベル、Edition Hawaraと、その姉妹レーベルとして世界各地の音源を扱うHawara Internationalの共同設立者。1970〜80年代の知られざる音楽の再発を通じて、時代を超えた音楽の魅力を発信している。
レーベル活動にとどまらず、1990年代後半からウィーンのダンスミュージックシーンで活躍。Deephousemafiaのメンバーとしてキャリアをスタートし、2000年代にはPepita Projectの一員として複数のハウス作品をリリースした。
ハウスミュージックをこよなく愛する一方、世界各地のソウル、ジャズ、ファンクを探求する熱心なレコードコレクターでもある。これまでにThe Lot Radio、HÖR、FM4、Sound Metaphorsなど、国内外のラジオ／音楽プラットフォームにもゲスト出演している。
