David A-P AKA Lafleur

デイビッド・A-P（通称：ラフルール）は、MotorCity Wine、MotorCity Wine Recordings、Hot Pot Recordsのオーナーでありながら、Rocksteady Disco、Hot Pot Records、MotorCity Wine Recordings、Detroit Electronic Quarterlyなどでリリースを手がける。1980年に義父のFunkadelic、スティーヴィー・ワンダー、フランク・ザッパ、タワー・オブ・パワーのレコードコレクションを発見して以来、彼は音楽のキュレーションに情熱を傾けている。最近では、日本やハワイをツアーし、シカゴ、パリ、アムステルダム、トロントでギグを行い、もちろん故郷のデトロイトや自身のバーであるMotorCity Wineでも多くの演奏を披露。彼のセレクトしたグルーブは、一晩中踊り続けたくなるようなものです。

Since discovering his stepfather’s collection of Funkadelic, Stevie Wonder, Frank Zappa and Tower of Power records in 1980, he’s been on a mission of music curation. David has recently toured Japan, Hawaii and played gigs in Chicago, Paris, Amsterdam and Toronto as well as many gigs in his homebase of Detroit and of course his own bar,, MotorCity Wine.
