Benedek

Benedek fuses acid-washed funk, house, electro, and Latin freestyle while venturing into new age and fusion territory to create a hybrid style all his own that could only come from his hometown of Los Angeles. Armed with an arsenal of synthesizers, rhythm machines, and electric guitar, he has years under his belt performing his unique live sets and DJing worldwide. Most recently, as a founding member of Total Blue, the ambient jazz fusion outfit who released their debut album last year on Music From Memory, he channels his expansive influences into a reverent deep listening experience, further expanding his sonic footprint. Benedek has released music on legendary labels such as PPU Peoples Potential Unlimited, Leaving Records, L.I.E.S., Apron, Music From Memory and more. His catalog includes collaborations with Steve Arrington, Delroy Edwards, Dam-Funk, Tom Noble, Steven Julien, Kirin and 8 ball town, Mark Seven, Jamma D, Joyce Wrice, Devin Morrison, dreamcastmoe, , Tom Curruthers, and more.

ロサンゼルス出身のプロデューサー／マルチインストゥルメンタリスト、Benedek。アシッドウォッシュ・ファンク、ハウス、エレクトロ、ラテン・フリースタイルを自在に融合し、ニューエイジやフュージョンの要素まで巻き込んだハイブリッドなスタイルは、まさに彼の地元LAでしか生まれ得ないサウンド。シンセサイザー、リズムマシン、エレキギターを駆使したライブセットとDJプレイを世界中で披露し、そのキャリアはすでに10年を超える。
最近では、アンビエント・ジャズ・フュージョン・プロジェクト「Total Blue」の創設メンバーとしても活動。昨年、名門〈Music From Memory〉からデビューアルバムをリリースし、より深いリスニング体験へとサウンドの幅を広げている。
これまでに、〈PPU Peoples Potential Unlimited〉、〈Leaving Records〉、〈L.I.E.S.〉、〈Apron〉、〈Music From Memory〉など数々の伝説的レーベルから作品を発表。Steve Arrington、Delroy Edwards、Dam-Funk、Tom Noble、Steven Julien、Kirin and 8 ball town、Mark Seven、Jamma D、Joyce Wrice、Devin Morrison、dreamcastmoe、Tom Carruthersといった多彩なアーティストとのコラボレーションも。

Jamma D

L.A. DJ/producer/beat maker Jamma D has been a figure in the west coast funk and boogie scene, both as an accomplished DJ and music producer, having released records under his own name and producing for the likes of Steve Arrington (Slave), Joyce Wrice, Mndsgn, and more. From a musical upbringing, Jamma’s adolescent obsession with record digging and beat making led him to Dam-Funk’s world-renown Funkmosphere parties early on, where he built relationships with key players in the LA funk scene and began to make a name for himself as a DJ and producer. In the second half of the 2010’s he released a series of EPs on New York label Arcane and hosted the legendary Soul In Paradise show on NTS radio from 2016-2020. In 2023, he released his debut full-length LP ‘Perceptions’ on Onra’s NBN Records re-imagining hip-hop, funk, R&B, and house through a distinctly California lens.

L.A.を拠点に活動するDJ／プロデューサー／ビートメイカー、Jamma D。Steve Arrington（Slave）、Joyce Wrice、Mndsgnなど多彩なアーティストへの楽曲提供でも知られ、ソロ名義でもリリースを重ねるなど、ウエストコースト・ファンク／ブギー・シーンで存在感を放つ一人。
音楽的なバックグラウンドを持ち、10代の頃にはレコードディグとビートメイキングにのめり込む日々。そんな彼を魅了したのが、Dam-Funk主催の伝説的パーティ「Funkmosphere」。このシーンの中心人物たちと出会いを重ねながら、DJ／プロデューサーとしてのキャリアを本格的に築いていった。
2010年代後半には、NYのレーベル〈Arcane〉から一連のEPをリリースし、2016年から2020年にかけてはNTSラジオで人気番組「Soul In Paradise」をホスト。2023年には〈NBN Records〉よりデビュー・アルバム『Perceptions』を発表。ヒップホップ、ファンク、R&B、ハウスを再構築し、カリフォルニアの光と空気をまとったサウンドスケープを描き出した。
