Slow Series: The Junk Edit, A Junk Journaling Workshop

  • 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm | Sunday March 22, 2026
  • Studio | Ace Hotel Brooklyn
Join The Junk Edit at Ace Hotel Brooklyn for a junk journaling workshop centered on renewal, reflection, and a gentle wrap of Q1.

Through collage, writing, and found materials, we’ll clear mental clutter, look back on the first months of the year, and make space for what we want to carry into the new season. Bring your journal and any “junk” you’ve been collecting—receipts, paper goods, notes, photos, packaging, or other ephemera—to transform into something meaningful. No experience needed—just come ready to reset, create, and welcome what’s next.

No experience needed, just come as you are.

PLEASE BRING JUNK (+ your own journal!) Receipts, wrappers, napkins, menus, letters, stickers, tickets, photos, or anything you’ve been saving for “one day”. Art supplies will be provided.

Arriving on time is encouraged. We’ll do:

Lobby Nights with Kenny at The Lobby

Kenny is a Brooklyn-based DJ with DMV roots and a sound that lives at the intersection of R&B, Hip Hop, house, Jersey club, and bass music, without settling into any one lane. Her sets move between the familiar and unexpected. She plays for people who are open. The ones who come for a good time and leave with a favorite new song. Whether it’s a packed room or a late-night crowd, the goal is always the same: keep it feeling…
