ABOUT

Sad Girls Club was founded in February 2017, by Elyse Fox after releasing a documentary film about her life with depression. Elyse immediately experienced a wave of young women from all over the world who were seeking mentorship, tips and resources to guide them through their own mental health struggles. Sad Girls Club is both an online platform and in real life community committed to bring girls together who are battling mental illnesses.

Chelsea Pinky, Glynn Pogue and Sade Parham are the founders of Blue Water Girls. The Brooklyn natives initially came together as the hosts of the popular podcast Black Girls Texting a show they started to highlight the multiplicities of Black women’s identities.
