With over 15 years behind the decks, she has spent the last seven years expanding her collection of obscure Brazilian, South African, and other eccentric records, weaving them into sets that blend house, sensual club bangers, sneaky grooves, and passionate thumpers.
A regular in New York’s underground scene, Mari has played at venues like Mood Ring, House of Yes, Jupiter Disco, Public Records, and Nightmoves. She is also a devoted music researcher, always digging for hidden gems to elevate her audiences to higher frequencies.
Mari’s drive to curate engaging, energetic sets ensures a memorable and dynamic experience for every dance floor she touches. Over the years, she has become a key figure in NYC’s queer underground music scene, recognized for her adventurous sound and infectious energy.
