Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens presents a temporary exhibition by Viktoria Nianiou. On view at Good Chemistry from 1 October 2026 through 28 February 2027.

About the artist

Viktoria Nianiou (b. 1991, Mytilene) is a visual artist working across painting, drawing and ceramics, who currently lives and works in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain.

Shaped by her roots in Lesvos and her time in South America and Spain, her practice revolves around travel, landscape, and the notion of the exotic. She develops a distinctive visual vocabulary in which horses, swords, stars, suns, and other symbols intertwine. Through open yet familiar compositions, Nianiou explores dualities such as freedom and vulnerability, harmony and struggle, strength and serenity.

She holds a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Granada and has also studied in Peru, following her MSc in Civil and Structural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
