World Cup 2026

Canada’s Home Soil Moment

BMO Field (Toronto Stadium) hosts six World Cup 2026 matches, including Canada’s opening game on June 12—the first World Cup match on Canadian soil in history. Germany, Ghana, Croatia, and Panama all play here too. You should be here for this.

Ace Hotel Toronto was built from the ground up in the heart of the Garment District, strategically nestled near the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and the iconic CN Tower. It welcomes the world through the richly furnished suspended Lobby bar set above Alder, a Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant from chef-partner Patrick Kriss. Evangeline—an all season, indoor-outdoor lounge—is the crown jewel atop the boutique hotel. A robust collection of artwork by primarily Canadian artists adorns the walls while an in-room vinyl library curated by storied local independent label Arts & Crafts accompanies the record players.

Minutes to BMO Field, Everything Toronto at Your Door

BMO Field (temporarily Toronto Stadium during the tournament) is at Exhibition Place—less than 10 minutes from Ace by streetcar or ride. Between matches, you’re in the city’s creative core: King West’s restaurants and bars, Queen West’s galleries and shops, the Distillery District’s cobblestone charm. Toronto doesn’t need a tournament to be world-class.

The World Cup Brings the World to Toronto

Football is global. So is Toronto. Whether you’re here for Canada’s historic opener, Germany vs. Ivory Coast, or any group stage drama, you’ll find your people—at Alder’s bar, or Evangeline’s rooftop. The best World Cup stories don’t happen in the stadium.

Tournament Schedule at BMO Field:

  • June 12: Canada vs. UEFA Playoff A winner
  • June 17: Ghana vs. Panama
  • June 20: Germany vs. Ivory Coast
  • June 23: Panama vs. Croatia
