About NYSIÃDES

Nysiādes are a London-based electronic hybrid band taking listeners on a journey across time and culture. Blending ancient Mediterranean and ethnic influences with modern electronic soundscapes, the four-piece weave together traditional instruments — flute, mandolin, lute, bouzouki — with atmospheric production and powerful vocals to create something entirely their own.

The band brings together four remarkable musicians: Francesca Monte, singer, songwriter and composer with over 14 million streams and appearances on The Voice of Italy and X Factor Italy; Elena Kulstof, producer and keys player whose classical roots and electronic expertise form the backbone of the band’s sound; Rebecca Speller, flutist and composer trained at Trinity Laban Conservatoire; and Yiolanda Loizou, multi-instrumentalist from Cyprus specialising in Eastern Mediterranean folk music.
