About: Olive Kimoto is an Los Angeles born and raised DJ and musician. Her story building sets explore everything from driving somatic rhythms and floating synths, to leftfield sounds and lush soundscapes. As a DJ, she has shared bills with Jon Hopkins, Gary Numan, Boy Harsher, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Nicola Cruz, Jenny Hval, The Field, and more. She’s performed at everything from art museums and galleries, to music festivals and clubs. Olive hosts the monthly radio show Liquid Mirror on NTS Radio, as well as the weekly show Endless Spiral on ROVR. She has traveled the world playing across other stations such as HÖR, Kiosk Radio, Baihui, and Seoul Community Radio. She is the cofounder of the Cocteau Twins dance night, Heaven or Los Angeles at Zebulon, as well as Earth Club at Bar Bandini.
