Room Serviced: Your friend’s sugar daddy booked her a room in the coolest hotel in town, and now she’s inviting the most fabulous girls and gays for a kickback in the lobby—That’s the vibe of Room Serviced. Whorechata is bringing a space for queer creatives to gather, meet and dance in an elevated setting to the most exciting up-and-coming Latinx DJs in New York and beyond.
About –
Bronx-born and Brooklyn-based, SKYWALKER burst onto the scene in 2023 with an energy that demands attention. He fuses house’s hypnotic grooves, Latin-house warmth, techno’s raw propulsion, jersey club’s contagious bounce, and global club edits into a seamless, high-voltage journey. Whether commandeering a warehouse rave, igniting an underground party, or taking over a packed club night, he commands the floor with magnetic confidence and a communal spirit that cuts through any gimmick. Each transition is meticulously crafted—building tension, delivering euphoric peaks, and dropping unexpected twists that keep crowds locked in from the first beat to the last.

Oyyster
Oyyster is a multi-hypehante artist, writer, DJ and founder of Whorechata, a party that started in an East Harlem bodega and has since taken over New York’s underground club scene. Born in Mexico City to Mexican and Chinese parents, his mixed upbringing and identities become evident in his refusal to conform to neat categories, mixing Latin techno with pop, Jersey Club, house and global genres. Ace Artist-in-Residence: Pied-à-Terre by Alex Yudzon at A!R
Alex Yudzon has spent the past decade transforming hotel rooms into temporary studios, sculptural playgrounds, and photographic stages. Known for his idiosyncratic approach—constructing elaborate installations using only the furniture and objects found within each room—Yudzon captures these ephemeral compositions in a single photograph before dismantling the evidence and checking out. The resulting images are part still life, part performance relic, part architectural hallucination. They reflect his fascination with transience, privacy, and the absurd theater of American interiors. Pied-à-terre, his exhibition…
