From the olive grove to our plate: A comprehensive two-part experience centered around olive oil.

Join us as we kick off this immersive event with a tour of the olive groves at Stavros Niarchos Park—the largest public Mediterranean garden in the world, where we’ll learn about olive trees, cultivation practices, and the role and importance of olive oil in the Mediterranean diet. Then, we’ll transport to Ace Hotel in the Athenian Riviera for an olive oil tasting. With the guidance of the Oleosophia team, we’ll taste selected olive oil varieties, discover complex aromas and flavor profiles, and learn how to appreciate a good olive oil.

About Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) was created at the initiative of and with an exclusive grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). Designed by Renzo Piano and the Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW), it is a public space where everyone has free access and can participate in a multitude of cultural, educational, athletic, environmental, and recreational activities and events. A model of sustainability, it integrates eco-friendly design and the Stavros Niarchos Park, the world’s largest public Mediterranean garden. With diverse programming, festivals, concerts, and workshops, the SNFCC celebrates culture through a series of events. Its mission is to activate public space in order to enrich the lives of its visitors and foster values and practices that will lead to a more equitable, sustainable, and cohesive society.
