自身の毎日更新されるビニールレコードコレクションが彼の創作の源泉。2013年以来、Groove Bunny Records / Daily Vinyl / Records&Barber wave / 1asiaを設立し、世界中で評価されている。アジアのポップ／フュージョンの楽曲に情熱を注ぎ、RBMA／NOISEY／Dixiaguangboなどでゲストミックスを公開し、NTS Radioでコラムを執筆。さらに、Nike／Adidas／DOE／Carhartt WIP／Fred Perryなどのブランドとの仕事を通じてキャリアを多様化し、香港、シンガポール、東京などの有名クラブで頻繁にDJとして活躍している。

大阪心斎橋に店舗を構えるレコード・ショップ”rare groove”のオーナー。ディスコ、サイケデリック・ロック、ニューエイジ・ミュージック、ハウス・ミュージックなど、ディープ&ワイドなセレクションのストアには、国内外から多くのDJや音楽愛好家が訪れる事でも知られる。音楽ガイドブック「WA B・O・O・G・I・E 1980s Japanese Boogie / Funk / Modern Soul / Fusion」(スペースシャワー ブックス)の共著、ドイツのレコードレーベルMusic From Memoryよりリリースされたコンピレーション、「Heisei No Oto (Japanese Left-Field Pop From The CD Age, 1989-1996)」の監修をAZ(Revelation Time)と共に担当。Dublab(L.A.)、NTS Radio(London)、Rinse FM(London)、The Vinyl Factory (London)、Worldwide FM(London)、Redlight Radio(Amsterdam)、Noise In My Head(Melbourne)、Butter Sessions(Melbourne)、Krossfingers(Ukraine)、Kiosk Radio(Brussels)、Hamon Radio(Tokyo)、Sound Metaphors(Berlin)などのポッドキャストにもDJ MIXを提供している。

Endy Chen is a maniac vinyl records digger since his a ton of, daily-updated vinyl collection became his own inspiration. Endy has founded Groove Bunny Records / Daily Vinyl / Records&Barber wave / 1asia since 2013, building up a reliable word of mouth worldwide. Endy has endless passion on develop his sound via rare groove culture as a DJ. Spending much of his time and energy digging into Asian Pop/Fusion tunes and experimenting his rocket science in different club scenes with surprised feedbacks. He used to publish Guest Mixes under music units like RBMA / NOISEY and Dixiaguangbo and have his own special columns in NTS Radio. Working with commercial brands such as Nike / Adidas / DOE / Carhartt WIP / Fred Perry etc makes his career more diversified. As a frequenter caller, promoter and guest DJ between famous clubs like Elevator in Shanghai, Endy has been DJ at different famous music venues in HongKong, Singapore, Seoul, Jakarta, Bali, Manila, Taipei, Nagoya, Tokyo, Osaka, Okinawa, Kobe, Kyoto, Hanoi and Komatsu.

Owner of the record shop “rare groove” located in Osaka’s Shinsaibashi district. The store is known for its deep and wide selection of music genres, including disco, psychedelic rock, new age music, and house music, attracting DJs and music enthusiasts from both Japan and abroad. Co-authored the music guidebook “WA B.O.O.G.I.E 1980s Japanese Boogie / Funk / Modern Soul / Fusion” (Space Shower Books) and co-curated a compilation titled “Heisei No Oto (Japanese Left-Field Pop From The CD Age, 1989-1996)” released by the German record label Music From Memory, in collaboration with AZ (Revelation Time). Also, provided DJ mixes for podcasts such as Dublab (L.A.), NTS Radio (London), Rinse FM (London), The Vinyl Factory (London), Worldwide FM (London), Redlight Radio (Amsterdam), Noise In My Head (Melbourne), Butter Sessions (Melbourne), Krossfingers (Ukraine), Kiosk Radio (Brussels), Hamon Radio (Tokyo), Sound Metaphors (Berlin), and more.
