- 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm | Wednesday March 22, 2023
- Interspace | Ace Hotel Toronto
- 51 Camden St
Our new series, “Shorts In Conversation,” makes a moment for cinema and dialogue. We invite an organization to curate a showing of three films alongside their makers, followed by the directors in dialogue about their craft. This month’s screening focuses on queer genre films.
Sharing their films will be: Lu Asfaha, director of “Fresh Meat,” Mark Pariselli director of “Family,” and Lovina Yavari and Onna Chan, directors of “Red String of Fate.
Inside Out, the Toronto-based queer film festival, is our curator for February. Their mission is to share stories that exist to challenge attitudes and change lives through the promotion, production and exhibition of film made by and about 2SLGBTQ+ people of all ages, races and abilities.
All films screening will be accompanied with open captions or English subtitles (all languages will be subtitled, including English).
For any access needs (or accessibility concerns) for the events, please contact michael.nyarkoh@acehotel.com. Any ASL interpreter requests must be booked 72 hours in advance.
