Arts Matter x Good Chemistry Projection Series: Byron Spencer

Arts-Matter in partnership with Culture Vault, is proud to present a four-weekend digital art event at Ace Hotel Sydney during Vivid from Saturday 27 May to Saturday 17 June. This exciting event will feature an array of digital art curated by leading artists, including Byron Spencer, Rel Pham, Mia Forest, Wendy Yu, Tim Grove, Jessica Ticchio, David Porte Beckefeld, and Sammy Yee.

The opening night on May 27th features Byron Spencer, a Sydney-based photographer with a playful approach to celebrity, fashion, and street style work.

The second weekend, on June 3rd, showcases the work of Rel Pham, a Melbourne-based designer, animator, illustrator, and painter known for his strong use of electric, vibrant colours and surrealism.

The third weekend, on June 10th, features a curation of Culture Vault artists including multidisciplinary creative, Jessica Ticchio, whose work is inspired by minimalism, surrealism, and ubiquitous sculptural forms. Wendy Yu, an Australia-based artist who works in the intersections of dance and new media design, will also be featured in the third weekend. Mia Forrest, a Sydney artist and designer whose work spans video, photography, and emerging technology, investigating systems of knowledge to present new ways of seeing and perceiving nature. , will round out the third weekend.

The closing night on June 17th features Justin Ridler, a multidisciplinary artist who blends traditional photography with modern technology to create works that merge the virtual and physical worlds.

The event promises to be an incredible showcase of the vibrant digital art scene in Australia, featuring an array of multidisciplinary artists with unique and visionary styles.

All are welcome to join, stick around in Good Chemistry for a wine or head to The Lobby for DJ’s ’til late.

This event is in collaboration with Hollywood Quarter.
