Designer and textile artist Leeann Huang and James Beard Award-winning baker Abi Balingit collaborate on a one-night only installation. Explore Leeann Huang’s surreal, lenticular feast of the Spring Summer ’25 collection with your eyes, and indulge in Abi’s mouthwatering desserts on Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, shop the collection’s exclusive pieces. In the Lobby and the Garden at Ace Hotel Brooklyn.

Having graduated from Central Saint Martins MA Fashion and BA Fashion Print, Leeann Huang specialises in innovative textiles and hand-crafted techniques in her Los Angeles Studio. Utilising bold colours, animal prints, and lenticular fabric, against kitsch motifs, Leeann Huang’s designs possess vibrancy, movement and playfulness. Her work has been covered by The Face, DAZED, i-D, Los Angeles Times, Perfect Magazine, Metal, and DOCUMENT Journal.

Abi Balingit is a Brooklyn-Based Filipino American baker. She is author of the 2024 James Beard Award Winning Cookbook “Mayumu: Filipino American Desserts Remixed,” and the blog, “The Dusky Kitchen.” During the pandemic, She made waves by selling pasalubong (which means souvenir in Tagolog) treat boxes filled with incredibly imaginative Filipino-inspired desserts and donating the proceeds to help those impacted by COVID-19. Her work has been covered by Vogue Philippines, Thrillist, Eater, Bon Appetit, Food52, TimeOut, VICE, and more.
