Ace Hotel Brooklyn & Eater Present: An Artful Arepa Workshop with Mercedes Golip
- 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm | Wednesday August 10, 2022
- Demo Kitchen | Ace Hotel Brooklyn
Eater is thrilled to welcome Venezuelan chef and food creative Mercedes Golip to the Ace Hotel’s demo kitchen. Mercedes will take guests through an intimate and immersive workshop of her celebrated herb-pressed arepas, teaching you the secrets to making and decorating your own beautiful arepas at home.
Mercedes is a pop-up chef, recipe developer, and food stylist who splits her time between New York City and the Catskills. She hosts Venezuelan-inspired pop-up dinners and teaches cooking classes to spread the word about the food she loves (mainly corn). The class and a light dinner afterward will be paired with Stella, who will also have a cicerone on hand.
Tickets are $60 and are inclusive of all of the above plus ingredients and tools (and fun surprises) for the class.
